Garrick Mendoza
Chef Garrick Mendoza, now the Executive Chef at STRIPSTEAK Waikiki, combines his passion for bold, globally inspired cuisine with a deep appreciation for local Hawaiian ingredients. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Garrick refined his skills at top kitchens, including Del Posto in New York, before joining the MINA Group in 2017.
Chef Garrick has worked closely under the guidance of Chef Michael Mina, mastering the art of pairing bold global flavors with local Hawaiian ingredients. At STRIPSTEAK, he continues to elevate the dining experience, delivering Chef Mina's vision of refined, high-energy cuisine with his own creative flair.
